RV There Yet?

RV There Yet? launched on October 21, 2025 as a game that grew out of an 8-week game jam, and has since become a major commercial success with over 4.5 million copies sold. The game started with one map (Mabutts Valley) and received its first major content update on December 16, 2025, adding a second map called Mt. Yurbuttsk. While the December 2025 update post mentioned no plans for further major content, the developer quickly reversed course. A March 18, 2026 patch note explicitly stated they were "still working hard on our new map," and on June 30, 2026, the developer provided an update confirming Map 3 remained in active development alongside the Xbox Game Pass launch. On August 26, 2026 — just five days before today — the developer posted a video announcement confirming that Map 3 will launch within the next two weeks. The same post announced a PS5 release window of late September to mid-late October 2026, and full cross-play across all platforms launching alongside PS5. The developer also teased additional unspecified news coming to their YouTube channel. The game has received consistent patch activity throughout its life, including feature updates (achievements, server browser, controller improvements) and crash fixes. Development is clearly ongoing and multiple concrete near-term releases have been publicly committed to.
