Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege launched on April 19, 2026 at $9.99 with a 21-stage single-player campaign, two-player co-op, seven boss fights, and a soundtrack released the following day on April 20, 2026. Since launch the developer has released a series of free patches, including new secret passwords and a speedrun password in May, a scoring and screen filter update on July 15, 2026, and a fix for display aspect ratio on Steam Machine on July 25, 2026. These updates adjust balance, add small features, and fix bugs rather than adding new stages or story content. No further Saint Slayer content has been announced, and no roadmap or statement about future plans has been published. The most recent post on the game's news page, dated October 7, 2026, promotes a separate upcoming platformer from the same studio, Ravenous Greed, which has a playable demo and is a separate title rather than new Saint Slayer content. Whether more Saint Slayer content is planned has not yet been communicated.
