Evaluation
SAND LAND launched on April 25, 2024. Prior to launch, the developers announced that the game would include Forest Land — a brand-new region created specifically for the video game (and accompanying anime series) by Akira Toriyama, expanding the base game with new adventures, characters, and story content. This Forest Land area was part of the base game at launch, not a separate paid DLC.
On the DLC side, the game shipped with a Deluxe Edition Upgrade Pack on launch day (April 25, 2024), a cosmetic Custom Vehicle Colors pack, and a Decal and Special Main Weapon Pack released on July 16, 2024. All three DLC items are released. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store.
The last developer news post of any kind was a bug fix patch on June 18, 2024 — nearly two years ago as of June 2026. There have been no announcements of future content, no roadmaps, no season passes, and no developer statements about ongoing or upcoming development beyond what has already shipped. The single post-launch major content milestone was the game launch itself, and the final DLC shipped on July 16, 2024. The developer has not communicated any plans for additional content since that time.
