Since reaching 1.0, Coffee Stain Studios has continued shipping major numbered updates: Update 1.1 launched on June 10, 2025 (bringing controller support, new buildables, and console preparation), and Update 1.2 launched on June 2, 2026 simultaneously across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S/X, introducing weather systems, vehicle path reworks, new game modes, and more. This establishes a clear pattern of roughly one major update per year since 1.0, with consistent feature patches and bug fixes in between.
On September 10, 2026 — the game's 2nd anniversary — the developer explicitly stated they "want to continue improving Satisfactory for all of you" and confirmed they are "working on more stuff for Satisfactory." An announcement post on September 22, 2026 promotes a forthcoming showcase event ("The Big Break Showcase") on September 29, 2026, where the developer says there will be "exciting news about games you already know and love" — indicating further announcements are imminent.
