Scarlet Maiden launched into Early Access on January 27, 2023 and officially released (leaving Early Access) on September 15, 2023. The launch post on that date explicitly stated: "Scarlet Maiden is finally fully completed and ready to leave Early Access." That same post acknowledged that "updates may be a bit slower from here" as the team shifts focus to new projects, and while it mentioned "more content planned," that statement was made in September 2023 — over two years ago — with no follow-up content of any kind ever delivered.
Since the September 15, 2023 full release, there have been zero patch notes, feature updates, or developer communications about Scarlet Maiden itself. The only post-release news item is from November 20, 2025, announcing an entirely new game called Charmed Souls. This confirms that Otterside Games has moved on to their next project.
The DLC list contains only the soundtrack, released on launch day. There are no unreleased DLC entries. The one vague mention of "more content planned" in the launch post was never followed up on and appears to have been aspirational language that did not materialize. The developer's actual behavior — complete silence on Scarlet Maiden since launch, pivoting to a new title — is consistent with the game being a finished product.

Defeat enemies and complete quests to gain Sin. As a Maiden of the Sacred Flame, you have the ability to gather Sin and convert it to power through repentance. Mistress Julia will "give you a hand" with the repentance part.
Use Sin to unlock new abilities for Scarlet! Create a build that suits your play style. Maybe you want to focus on melee combat. Or perhaps powerful spells suit you better. How ever you build your character, it is up to you.
Increase the level of your companions at Sinner's Rest Abbey. They will be able to provide you with more powerful weapons, spells and amulets for your adventure.
Complete Misty's quests. Misty is a fellow resident of Sinner's Rest Abbey. Her playthings have been stolen and she hopes you will be able to find them. Delivering her lost items will reward you with lewd scenes in Misty's Sex Dungeon.
Engage in sinful acts in the Underworld. Sometimes you will be able to pump out extra Sin from defeated monsters with your magic strap-on.
