Scuffy Game

Scuffy Game launched as a free-to-play party minigame on February 18, 2022. The developer originally declared development complete in April–May 2022 with "The Finale" live event, but returned to active development years later, shipping a major 3rd Anniversary Update on February 18, 2025 (v4.0) followed by additional updates culminating in the M.D.L.M live event and patch v4.5.1 on April 16, 2025. The February 18, 2025 anniversary post (NEWS-6) is the key statement: after the final live event, the developer explicitly committed to continuing support with seasonal content — specifically naming summer and winter updates as examples going forward. This promise was made after the April 2025 live event concluded the "3rd anniversary updates" arc, meaning the seasonal content commitment was meant to begin after that point. However, as of October 1, 2026, no update or developer communication of any kind has appeared since the April 16, 2025 bug fix (NEWS-1) — a silence of over 17 months. The promised summer update (which would have been expected around mid-2025) and a winter update have not materialized, and the developer has not explained the delay or acknowledged the commitment since making it. This extended silence against outstanding, named content commitments raises real uncertainty about whether development is continuing as promised.
