Sea Horizon

Sea Horizon launched into Early Access in May 2022 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on October 20, 2022. During Early Access and shortly after full release, the developer (45 Studio) was actively updating the game — adding a new story chapter (East Archipelago, June 2, 2022), introducing new features like skill upgrades (November 4, 2022) and an auto-save/food system overhaul (November 22, 2022), and making balance adjustments through early 2023. The last developer communication was a small balance patch on April 14, 2023, which mentioned being "ready to update the game in the future" — a generic phrase used consistently across their patch notes since launch rather than a specific commitment to new content. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store (only a soundtrack released in October 2022), no announced roadmap or named upcoming content, and no developer posts of any kind since April 14, 2023 — over three years ago as of today (June 23, 2026). The post-launch update cadence, which was roughly monthly from October 2022 through April 2023, has been completely silent since then, well beyond any reasonable continuation of that pattern. The game appears to have reached its finished state with the April 2023 patch.
