秘封旅行 ~ Secret Sealing Travel

This is a Touhou Project fan desktop-pet game that has been in Early Access on Steam since October 17, 2020. The Early Access status remains in place, and the developer has explicitly explained why. In a New Year's post on December 31, 2025, the developer gave a candid status update. They noted that the core features originally envisioned for the game have largely been implemented over the past five-plus years, and that the main programmer is now occupied with their day job — so no further major functional feature additions are planned. Going forward, updates will be limited to routine item additions and maintenance. However, the developer made a specific commitment: during 2026, they plan to substantially revamp the game's dialogue text and item text, with the goal of weaving the story of the "Century of Science" and the two Secret Sealing Club members throughout the game. This is announced, unfinished content work. Regarding the Early Access label: the developer explained that they are intentionally keeping the store page in Early Access status due to concerns about unpredictable Steam-related issues (citing a past cloud save problem that prevented the game from launching) and because they are not comfortable managing the technical process of changing the store page status. The Early Access flag therefore reflects an administrative decision rather than an indication that core gameplay features remain unimplemented — but it is still the official designation on Steam. As of today (October 8, 2026), the promised 2026 dialogue and text overhaul has not been confirmed as completed in any subsequent developer post. The developer said they would "take time during this year" to do it, but there has been no news post since December 31, 2025 confirming the work has shipped. The commitment stands as outstanding announced content.
