Seed Hunter launched its 1.0 release on May 22, 2020, marking the exit from Early Access with the addition of the final map, final bosses, and conclusion of the main story. Shortly after, on July 21, 2020, the developer shipped English and Japanese localization and noted in that post that future updates were possible — but this was a general expression of goodwill rather than a specific commitment to new content. Since that July 2020 post, no further game updates, feature patches, or content announcements have been made. The most recent developer activity was on May 16, 2024, which was a store sale announcement coinciding with the release of the official soundtrack as a separate product — not a game content update. No roadmap, unshipped DLC, or announced future content exists. The sole DLC is the soundtrack, which has been released. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product, with all story content delivered at the 1.0 launch.
