Evaluation
Sex of Thrones Prologue is a free visual novel released on April 26, 2024, explicitly designed as a preview for the full paid game. At launch, the developer (Taboo Tales) stated the full version would release "in just a month" — and a follow-up post on May 7, 2024 reiterated it was "just a few weeks away." A bug fix and localization patch shipped on May 4, 2024, showing the team was still active at that point.
However, the last recorded developer communication is from May 7, 2024. As of June 20, 2026, no further posts, updates, or announcements have surfaced — and crucially, there is no evidence the full version of the game was ever released. The promised launch window came and went without any official confirmation of release or any explanation for the delay. Over two years have passed since the developer's last communication, with no word on the status of the full game.
