Evaluation
Sexena: Arena Tales launched on November 25, 2020 as a complete visual novel / interactive fiction experience. Following launch, The Poundry released a series of post-launch updates: a gallery and quality-of-life update on December 31, 2020, an animation update on February 15, 2021, and a small hotfix on April 11, 2021. All of these updates addressed player feedback, added polish (animated poses, gallery mode, sound controls), and fixed bugs — none introduced new story content or announced upcoming expansions. The April 11, 2021 hotfix is the last recorded developer communication, and the store description makes no mention of planned future content. The developer has not posted any news since April 2021, and no unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product and received only post-launch polish before going quiet.
Evidence
Small hotfix addressing soft-locks, missing art, reset bugs, and adding a mute button. Last recorded developer communication.
Animated idle poses added for all main monster characters and guest character Tamani; save/load menu overhauled.
