Shadowplay: Metropolis Foe has been removed from Steam and can no longer be purchased. The game's removal was announced in advance: on April 20, 2022, the developers — Crossingstar Studio, 42 Foundation, and 2P Games — posted a notice stating this would be "our last announcement" and that the game would be deleted from Steam in May 2022. They cited the withdrawal of support from 42 Foundation, which had actually been announced as far back as the game's full launch on August 20, 2021. The developers stated at that time that the August 2021 patch was "the last major update" of the game. The store page currently shows no purchase options available, confirming the game has been delisted. Players who already own the game can still download and play it, and the store page and forums remain accessible, but new purchases are not possible.

Once in combat, you'll have companions by your side whose skills and cards you can borrow to complement yours.
