Shadows Peak launched out of Early Access on March 13, 2017. The game's full story content — including the final chapter — was added in a patch on January 20, 2017, shortly before the official 1.0 release. The developer's post on March 13, 2017 noted plans for minor follow-up updates (achievements and a Korean translation), and the news history shows a cluster of bug fix and feature patches around that launch period. However, all of that activity concluded by early 2017, and the developer moved on to entirely separate projects: Witch Hunt (released into Early Access in June 2018, then fully released in September 2018) and Skinwalker Hunt (announced in February 2020, released into Early Access in June 2021). The most recent news post on Shadows Peak's page, dated June 4, 2021, is an announcement for Skinwalker Hunt — not a Shadows Peak update. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, and no developer communication about any future Shadows Peak content. The game shipped as a complete, self-contained story experience and has received no substantive updates since 2017.
