Shark Simulator

Aerilon Studios announced on March 25, 2018 that the studio was closing. Rather than remove Shark Simulator from Steam, they made it free-to-play starting April 1, 2018, signing off with a farewell message to the community. This was the studio's final communication, and development ended with the closure. The game received a series of feature updates in the weeks leading up to and following its November 22, 2017 release — adding new areas, missions, weapons, and costumes — before the studio wound down. No further content has been announced or is expected, as the developer no longer exists. The game remains available on Steam as a free-to-play title.
