Shokudo Underworld

Shokudo Underworld launched on September 15, 2024 as Miluku Inc.'s first game. Following release, the developer issued several bug fixes and a notable feature patch on November 4, 2024 adding full controller support — the last substantive update to the game itself. On February 17, 2025, Miluku Inc. posted an announcement that makes their intentions clear: they celebrated the game's milestone of 8,000 copies sold, described Shokudo Underworld as their "first game, a way to explore the market and test our potential," and announced that the studio's focus has moved on to an entirely new project — Rise of Shrooms. The post frames Shokudo Underworld as a completed chapter in the studio's story, with no mention of future updates, DLC, or additional content planned for it. There is no unreleased DLC on the store, no roadmap for future content, and no post-launch pattern of major content updates. The developer's own words confirm they have moved on to their next title. The game launched as a complete product and has received only maintenance and quality-of-life updates since launch.
