Evaluation

Tiny Eden launched on September 7, 2026 — the day before this assessment. The developer, Bajka Games, released the game after an extended development period that included multiple public playtests and a demo phase (the game was previously known as "City Garden Harvest" during testing). The launch post celebrated 150,000+ wishlists and marked the game's full 1.0 release on Steam. The day of launch also saw an immediate feature patch (Update #1) addressing save compatibility, gameplay bugs, quest fixes, and localization — a sign of an actively engaged development team. The only paid optional add-on announced so far is a "Goodies Pack" ($2.99), containing cosmetic items like drone skins, cat models, and wallpapers, which was announced alongside the base game on September 1, 2026. Because the game only released yesterday, there is no post-launch content history to draw on — no major updates have shipped after the 1.0 release, no future content has been announced, and no roadmap has been published. The developer has not stated that the game is complete with no further plans, nor have they announced upcoming expansions or DLC. The game is simply too new to assess its long-term content trajectory.

About this game

Turn a small apartment high above the city into a garden. Start with a few pots and whatever space you can find, then learn what your plants need as you care for them from seed to harvest. Cook with what you grow, sell what you make, discover new varieties, and reinvest your earnings into an ever-expanding indoor garden.

You'll expand by unlocking new rooms, increasing the space available to you. Over time, you'll see your collection of plants grow throughout your apartment and eventually, even onto the rooftop. Along the way, you'll be able to decorate your home to create a space that feels truly your own.

Flowers, berries, and vegetables each have their own needs. Find the right planter (container), give them the perfect soil mix using compost, sand, clay, and more, then place them where the light and temperature suit them best. Of course, you'll need to make sure to keep them watered and free of weeds as they grow!

Your harvest doesn't have to stay in the pot. Take what you've harvested into the kitchen and turn it into salads, baked treats, and a wide variety of other dishes. The people who live in the apartment will pay you good money for your homemade meals!

What begins with a few plants can gradually take over your home. You'll unlock new rooms, make use of the balconies and other growing spaces, and eventually take your garden all the way to the rooftop greenhouse.

Your plants are not the only things that make up your apartment, after all, you have to live there. Mix and match furniture and decorations, arrange the plants as part of the room itself, and decide what kind of home you want to create. Don't forget your meow-tasic friend while you work on the apartment. Your cat will need to feel at home as well!
