Shortest Trip to Earth

Shortest Trip to Earth launched on August 15, 2019 and has received three paid DLC packs over its lifetime: the Supporters Pack (October 23, 2019), The Old Enemies (November 5, 2020), and most recently One Last Run (November 28, 2025). All three are fully released with no unreleased DLC remaining in the store listing. The October 2025 developer post ("We are back!") [NEWS-4] gave an overview of Interactive Fate's history and noted the studio was working on "something new" — a reference to their next unrelated project, not additional Shortest Trip content. Shortly after, the "One Last Run" DLC was announced and shipped in November 2025, accompanied by a major game balance update. The DLC name itself ("One Last Run") carries a strong finality signal, and the developer framing described it as content the community had encouraged them to create — presented as a culminating addition rather than the beginning of a new content phase. A bug fix patch followed on December 20, 2025 [NEWS-5], which represents the most recent developer communication. All DLC is released, there are no announced future content plans, no unreleased DLC entries on the store, and the developer's own post-DLC communication has been a single maintenance patch. The historical cadence of major content releases (Supporters Pack in October 2019, The Old Enemies in November 2020, One Last Run in November 2025) shows irregular, widely spaced releases rather than a sustained ongoing pattern. The most recent patch on December 20, 2025 is now over six months old as of today (June 27, 2026), with no further developer communication. The combination of a "final" DLC name, all content shipped, no outstanding commitments, and silence extending beyond six months points to the game being complete.
