Shutter

Shutter launched on April 2, 2015 as a self-contained fixed-camera puzzle-horror game. The developer shipped two post-launch patches: version 1.10 on April 14, 2015 (adding achievements, graphical updates, bug fixes) and version 1.11 on October 5, 2015 (adding a "Next Mission" teaser menu pointing toward Shutter 2). Both patches were purely quality-of-life and maintenance updates — no new story content or DLC was added to Shutter itself. The developer's communications from October 2016 focused entirely on Shutter 2, a planned sequel for which pre-alpha screenshots and feature details were shared. These posts make clear that the developer's creative ambitions moved on to the sequel rather than adding content to the original game. The October 2016 posts are the last recorded communication from Cosmic Logic — there have been no developer updates of any kind since October 24, 2016. Shutter itself has no DLC, no announced post-launch content, no season pass, and no roadmap. The store description contains no mention of future updates. The game was designed and launched as a complete, standalone product. The Shutter 2 announcements refer to a separate game, not additional content for Shutter. With nearly a decade of silence since the last developer post, the original game is clearly a finished, self-contained release.
