Sierra Ops launched on January 16, 2020 and released Episode 2 as a DLC on June 21, 2021, expanding the story significantly. In January 2022, the developer announced a major restructuring: rather than releasing Episodes 3 and 4 as separate games, they would be folded into the existing Sierra Ops as a large expansion update, completing the full story. A new Trello-based roadmap was published on January 16, 2022, with a beta release window of February/March 2022.
That announcement on January 16, 2022 is also the last communication the developer has posted on Steam. Episodes 3 ("Unending Dusk") and 4 ("Cadence of the Morning Star") remain listed on the store as unreleased DLC with no release dates. The promised monthly Steam update summaries mentioned in the January 2022 post never appeared.
The story content for Sierra Ops is explicitly unfinished — the developer has described these episodes as covering "chapters 4 through 10" and "many endings," representing the majority of the planned narrative. However, with no developer communication since January 16, 2022, it is unclear whether development is still ongoing, has stalled, or has been abandoned. The February/March 2022 beta target came and went without any update.

Before purchasing Sierra Ops - Please note that the game was originally a free-to-play episodic game. However, due to visibility issues, Valve suggested we switch to paid app with both episodes 1 and 2 in it. This means Sierra Ops is now technically an Early Access title.
The price of the game is currently $14.99 USD which includes episodes 1 and 2. Once the full expansion patch is released, the price will be adjusted to $24.99 USD (cheaper than initially planned with episodes 2-4 as $9.99 USD x 3 DLCs). We sincerely apologise for any confusion this may have caused.
