Silence Channel 2 launched on December 7, 2023 as a free-to-play psychological horror game. Two days after launch, on December 9, 2023, the developer posted a message explicitly promising future updates including more languages, additional story parts, and extra content. True to that, the developer shipped Update 0.46 on February 5, 2024, which added Story Chapter 4, a new challenge mode, six achievements, controller support, and a new language — while closing the post with "Stay tuned for more updates! I am trying to add more features to the game (Story Chapters, New Challenges, Puzzles...)". However, since February 5, 2024, there have been no further content updates to Silence Channel 2. The developer's subsequent posts on this game's Steam page have been sale promotions and announcements for two entirely separate games: "A Hole in My Room" (released December 2024) and "THEM" (released June 2025). This suggests the developer's attention has shifted to new projects. The promised ongoing story chapters and additional content have not materialized in over 17 months, and the developer has not communicated whether work on Silence Channel 2 is continuing or has wrapped up.
