Evaluation
Silicon Dreams launched on April 20, 2021 and received one free post-launch content update: Fatality & Fame (October 12, 2021), which added two new android characters written in collaboration with a cyberpunk author, plus a narrative flowchart feature. There were also a handful of feature patches and bug fixes in 2021–2022, including a rewind feature (June 2021) and controller support (September 2022). The developer's last substantive communication about Silicon Dreams itself came in November 2025, when developer Jamie Patton posted to announce the launch of their next game, Duskpunk — describing Silicon Dreams in the past tense as a completed reference point and directing players to follow updates about new projects. No further content for Silicon Dreams has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed, and the developer has clearly moved on to a new title. The game appears to have been released as a complete narrative experience, with Fatality & Fame representing the final content addition.

About this game
Investigate humans and androids in a corporate-controlled dystopian future where the lines between the real and the artificial have blurred to almost nothing. Research your subjects, choose your questions carefully, and probe for the truth, however dreadful it may be.
Monitor interviewees’ emotions in real time - joy, sadness, anger, disgust, shock, and fear. Use this data to your advantage, intimidating, cajoling, or even befriending your subjects in order to to uncover more information.
Choose a side in the midst of a brewing conflict: lie to your superiors and spare deviant androids, or condemn them to secure your own survival within the corporation. There are no easy answers. Silicon Dreams has multiple endings depending on the choices you make. Each android could live or die by your words.
