Evaluation

Song of Farca launched on July 21, 2021 as a complete detective adventure game. The developer (Wooden Monkeys) and publisher (Alawar) released a handful of patches in the weeks following launch — a hotfix on July 23, a feature patch on July 30, and a final feature patch on December 20, 2021 that added quality-of-life improvements and minor fixes. The only DLC ever released is the Original Soundtrack, which shipped on August 9, 2021. No additional story content, expansions, or DLC have been announced or listed on the store. The developer news feed shows no Song of Farca-specific posts after December 20, 2021; all subsequent posts from the publisher are announcements and launches for entirely different games (Wall World, Necrosmith 2, Necroking, Technotopia, Karate Survivor). The game appears to have shipped as a self-contained narrative experience with no post-launch content roadmap, and development activity has long since concluded.

About this game

Intrigue, corporations, lies, criminal structures, a frightening future, irreversible consequences. Welcome to the Song of Farca, a dark and cruel Black Mirror-esque novel.

You are Isabella Song, a private detective, and hacker who has to investigate a series of crimes. Can you uncover them using only gadgets, an army of drones, and your mind?

As your investigation proceeds, the stakes will rise, different episodes become woven into the one story, and decisions will become increasingly difficult.

Get information by any means:

Use darknet search and artificial intelligence, hack drones and study surveillance footage, blackmail, or interrogate.

Create a cloud of leads and analyze evidence:

Will you blame the most suspicious character or dig deeper?

Draw the right conclusions to get the truth:

The victim may turn out to be a criminal, and the suspect is just one link in a criminal chain.

Feel the consequences of wrong decisions:

Are you ready to commit a crime yourself to save your loved ones?
