Sipho graduated from Early Access on September 30, 2023, launching version 1.0.0 with a new mushroom-inspired breed, new zooids, improved enemy AI, Steam Workshop support, and a new soundtrack. In the days following launch, the developer released a series of hotfixes and a post on October 6, 2023 acknowledging the release and committing to further polish — specifically improved onboarding, controller support, and new language translations — but without announcing any named expansions or paid DLC. Through early 2024, the developer continued to ship updates: a significant technical overhaul of the level generation system arrived on January 1, 2024 (version 1.2.1), accompanied by a note that said "we want to have the best version of Sipho available while we work on more content." This was followed by a bug-fix patch on April 14, 2024 and a feature patch on April 18, 2024. The January 2024 post's mention of "more content" is the kind of general intent statement a developer makes during active maintenance — it did not announce any specific named content, and no subsequent updates or announcements have materialized since April 18, 2024.
