Evaluation

Sit-Back Attack entered Early Access on November 24, 2025 and has been receiving consistent, frequent updates ever since. The developer (Stapleton) has shipped three major content updates since launch: Patch v0.920 on February 9, 2026 (adding Shared Screen PvP, Boss Rush, two new classes, and a Level 600 cap), Patch v0.930 on March 18, 2026 (adding the Druid and Monk classes), and Patch v0.940 on April 24, 2026 (adding two more classes, a Level 700 cap, and the Empowered Stats system). Between and after these major updates, the developer has shipped multiple feature patches adding new unique items, balance changes, Set Items, and translation improvements — most recently on July 13, 2026 with Patch v0.949. The developer's roadmap is clearly far from complete. In the February 2026 major update post, the developer explicitly described Patch v0.920 as "the first of the 5 large content updates planned throughout Early Access" — meaning at least four more large updates remain. As of the July 13, 2026 patch notes, the developer confirms active work on Hardcore Mode, Roguelike Mode, a World Boss, Equipment Fusing, and translation revamps for multiple languages. The developer also noted in that post that they are going through a personal and business move, which is causing some slowdown, but expects to return to full speed within approximately a month from that date. The game is clearly in active development with substantial announced content still ahead of it, and no signal that Early Access is wrapping up.

Pet skill can be used manually. It can also be improved by Passive skills on characters!

Leveling & Progression

Every new tier of character power (Level 100, 200, 300, up to 500...) must be unlocked by completing challenging maps with Ultra Bosses!

Crafting & Alchemy & Equipment

Craft with 16 different ingredients in 4 different crafting slots. 1,024 different trait combinations per piece of equipment!
Unique equipment has special stats not found in crafting equipment for even more possibilities!
An alchemy craft that allows you to use potions on your allies and enemies manually! This craft can be improved with a characters skills and gear.
