Skyborn

Skyborn launched on February 21, 2014 as a self-contained story-driven RPG. The store description presents it as a complete narrative experience with no mention of DLC, expansions, or ongoing content. There are no DLC listings for the game. Developer communications confirm that Dancing Dragon Games moved on from Skyborn after launch. A January 2016 post announced their next game, Echoes of Aetheria, as already released. A March 2016 post floated the idea of a "Skyborn 2" as a community discussion thread, but no sequel or additional content for the original game was ever announced. A February 2017 post confirmed the developer was working on a new Fire Emblem-style strategy RPG — a separate project entirely. An April 2017 post reiterated that a new game was in development and encouraged fans to follow social media for updates on it. The most recent developer communication in the game's news feed (May 2019) is actually a post about an entirely unrelated game (Virgo vs. The Zodiac) published by a different company, suggesting the developer's Steam page activity has since been unrelated to Skyborn itself. No content has been added to Skyborn post-launch, no DLC was ever released, and no future content has ever been announced. The game shipped as a complete, finished product in February 2014.
