Battle Chasers: Nightwar launched on Steam on October 3, 2017. It shipped as a complete, self-contained RPG — the only DLC ever released was a Digital Extras pack (soundtrack and art book) that launched alongside the game on the same day, not post-launch story content. After release, the developer issued several balance and bug-fix patches through January 2018, and later added a Linux version in May 2018 and a minor bug-fix patch in September 2018. The last developer communication of any kind was on September 20, 2018. No future content was ever announced, no roadmap was published, and no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The game launched as a finished product and has received no post-launch content expansions. All developer activity ceased by September 2018, and the game's content has been complete since its launch date.
