FINAL FANTASY XIII-2 launched on Steam on December 11, 2014, described as an enhanced PC version that already included a range of downloadable content from the original console release. The game's two DLC items — the Original Soundtrack and Original Soundtrack PLUS — were both released on January 23, 2025, completing the content available on the platform. The only developer news post scanned is a June 25, 2026 announcement for an entirely unrelated title (FINAL FANTASY VII REVELATION), which has no bearing on FINAL FANTASY XIII-2's status. There are no unreleased DLC items, no developer announcements of upcoming content for this title, and no indication of any further updates planned. The game is a complete package.
