Slay the Minotaur launched on February 23, 2024 and received two major content updates: the First Major Update on April 1, 2024, and the Second Major Update on May 13, 2024. A small feature patch adding summer outfits followed on June 27, 2024, which appears to be the last content the developer committed to delivering (mentioned in a May 22, 2024 post).
The developer was transparent throughout about the game's trajectory. As early as April 23, 2024, they stated the second update would "probably be the last Slay the Minotaur update." The May 13, 2024 post confirmed this, saying: "Although this might be the last Slay the Minotaur content update... I'm very happy with how much content the game offers right now." While they left a small door open by saying they might return someday, they explicitly told players not to expect another major content update unless specifically announced.
By September 23, 2024, the developer had moved on, announcing a new game called The Bleakest Keep and using Slay the Minotaur's discount to promote it. There have been no further updates or communications about Slay the Minotaur since then. The developer's attention has clearly shifted to their next project, and no new content for this game has been announced or promised.

Defeat these mythical creatures to earn pearls that can be traded with Aphrodite to become stronger and to open chests containing powerful weaponry. If you want a chance at slaying the Minotaur, you must fight your way through the labyrinth!
