Evaluation
Hades launched into Early Access in December 2019 and received a series of major content updates throughout development. The game officially reached v1.0 on September 17, 2020, completing its Early Access development and delivering the full story, true ending, and all planned content. Following launch, Supergiant released a small number of bug-fix and localization patches. On July 27, 2021, the developer published what became their final official communication for Hades, explicitly noting that they were removing the patch notes section and bug-reporting feature from the game's main menu to "reflect the fact that our Early Access development phase has been complete for some time." The team stated they were excited to figure out what's next — which turned out to be Hades II, announced in December 2022 and launched as a fully separate game on September 25, 2025. There are no unreleased DLC items, no announced future content for Hades, and no post-July 2021 developer activity on this title. The sole DLC listed — the Original Soundtrack — was released in 2019. Hades is a complete, finished product with no further content expected.
