Hades II launched into Steam Early Access in May 2024 and received three major content updates during that period: The Warsong Update (February 19, 2025) and The Unseen Update (June 17, 2025), each adding substantial new gameplay systems, story content, and encounters. The developer then announced the v1.0 release date on September 12, 2025, and officially launched version 1.0 on September 25, 2025, completing Early Access development. In the v1.0 launch post, Supergiant stated: "We've given v1.0 of Hades II everything we've got!" and "Beyond that, it's too early to say what's next for our team! We'll likely take some time to reflect and recharge." This is a clear signal that the planned content scope is fulfilled, with no new content committed beyond the 1.0 release. Since launch, the developer has continued to issue post-launch patches focused on quality-of-life improvements, balance adjustments, and bug fixes — Post-Launch Patch 1 (October 31, 2025), Post-Launch Patch 2 (April 14, 2026), and several hotfixes through June 10, 2026. These updates add refinements such as new narrated scenes, dialogue, and minor content enhancements, but no new regions, weapons, or major story beats have been announced or shipped. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store, and the only DLC (the Original Soundtrack) was released on May 6, 2024.
