SWORN launched into Early Access on February 6, 2025 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on September 23, 2025. At launch, the developer explicitly stated "1.0 is not the end of our journey," and on October 2, 2025 published a structured two-phase post-launch roadmap. Phase 1 (Q4 2025) promised Discord integration, voice chat, and three new alternate boss encounters. All of this was delivered: alternate bosses (Lady Kay, Sir Dagonet, and Lady Agravain) arrived in Update #1 on December 11, 2025, and Discord/voice chat shipped in Patch #3 on November 13, 2025. Phase 2 (Q1 2026) promised a Boss Rush mode and additional difficulty content. Both of these were delivered in Update #2 on March 24, 2026 — the Boss Rush arena mode, enemy difficulty modifiers, and corrupted enemy systems were all completed and shipped in that update. With both announced roadmap phases now fulfilled, the developer has not published a new roadmap or explicitly announced additional future content. Nor have they stated that development is complete. The most recent communication is a bug fix patch on January 29, 2026 (prior to Update #2 shipping in March 2026), meaning the last developer post was on March 24, 2026. The game has received two major content updates since its 1.0 launch — roughly one every three to four months — establishing a meaningful post-launch update pattern. Given that the developer has never signaled development is finished, and given this active update history, additional content remains plausible. However, the explicit roadmap commitments have now been met, so the status has shifted from clearly planned content to an active development posture with no specific future content announced.
