Slime CCG launched on July 12, 2018 as a free-to-play card game. The studio posted actively in the weeks following launch, promising multiplayer, a story mode, new UI, and additional card artwork. However, all developer communication stopped after September 3, 2018 — the last news post — and the game's store description still lists Multiplayer and Story Mode as "coming soon" features that were never delivered. The sole DLC (Expansion #1) was released on July 13, 2018, just one day after launch. No further DLC has been released or announced since then. The store description promises "monthly and seasonal updates," but no updates of that nature were ever documented, and there has been no developer communication for over seven years since September 3, 2018. Given the extended silence, the absence of any new content, and the lapse of all announced feature promises, the game's development effectively concluded around the time of the last developer post in September 2018, despite the store description remaining unchanged.
