Sloppy Fields

Sloppy Fields launched into Early Access on June 17, 2025, with the developer explicitly stating the game was approximately 50% complete — major systems around 70% done, art at 35%, and story at 50%. A full Early Access roadmap was published at launch outlining the planned development path. Since launch, the game has received three major content updates: Update 0.5.2 on October 16, 2025 (photography album, crop selling, new character scenes), Update 0.6.0 on April 3, 2026 (new hog breeding zone, new character Roxy, wheat farming, nighttime scenes), and Update 0.6.1 on August 2, 2026 (reworked affection system with libido/obsession mechanics, new nighttime scenes, huge crops, new livestock room upgrades, and consumable reworks). Crucially, the August 2, 2026 update post explicitly states that the next update will add consumables to manage the new affection system, and notes that character Leyla's item rework and cutscene are specifically planned for update 0.7. This is the most recent developer communication, confirming active development with named upcoming content. The developer also invited player feedback to shape further changes. Development has been consistent and active, with major updates shipping roughly every 4–6 months. The game remains firmly in Early Access with the developer actively communicating about and delivering planned content.
