Snake Crush Survivors launched on January 19, 2024 and has been receiving ongoing content additions. The first major update, "Giant Update 1.5," arrived on March 16, 2024, adding four new playable characters, two new skill classes, and a Challenge Mode. After a quieter stretch, the developer returned with a substantial second major update on September 25, 2026 — "Relics & Qi Orbs" — which introduced 64 relics across four rarity tiers, a new Qi Orb skill school, Endless Mode, six new combat pickups, multiple save profiles, and extensive balance and visual improvements. Just days later, on September 29, 2026, a feature patch added new Qi build options and English and Japanese voice acting. Then, on October 1, 2026 — today's date — the developer shipped another major content drop adding tower defense encounters, 20 new urban anomaly events, 25 new relics, and expanded Endless Mode difficulty scaling. The developer is clearly in an active content push right now, with three updates in the span of one week. No specific future content has been announced, and the developer has not indicated that development is winding down. Given the pace and recency of these updates, the game continues to receive substantial new content.
