Evaluation
Snakebird launched on May 4, 2015 as a complete, self-contained puzzle game with over fifty levels across multiple themed zones. The developer shipped two small patches shortly after launch (May 15 and June 11, 2015) to address bugs and minor usability issues, and that was the end of post-launch support for this game. The only subsequent developer communication — a February 2019 news post — was not an update to Snakebird itself, but an announcement of a separate standalone companion game, Snakebird Primer, designed as an easier entry point to the same mechanics. The store description makes no mention of future content, DLC, or ongoing updates, and there are no DLC listings of any kind. The game launched as a finished product and has received no content additions since release.

Snakebird is a very simple but deceptively challenging puzzle game about assuming the right shapes for the task at hand, be it pushing, lifting, teleporting or just defying the laws of physics.
