Soak & Splash

Soak & Splash launched into Early Access on November 19, 2023, received several feature updates and patches through late 2023, then graduated to its full 1.0 release on February 4, 2024 with a notable content update that added a new minigame, new items, and a new skin. The critical development signal came on February 12, 2025, when the developer published a post explicitly stating that they had decided to concentrate on creating a new game (Cast & Spell) rather than continuing to add new content to Soak & Splash. They noted that players had been waiting for new content "for a long time," acknowledging that development focus had shifted away. Their new game Cast & Spell then launched into Early Access on April 18, 2025. This is a clear developer statement that Soak & Splash is no longer receiving new content — the studio has moved on to their next project. The only DLC ever listed (a soundtrack released January 4, 2024) has been available since before the game's 1.0 launch. No unreleased DLC exists, and no future content has been announced for Soak & Splash. The game is a free-to-play multiplayer experience with no ongoing monetized content cycle. Given the developer's explicit redirect to a new game, Soak & Splash is best understood as a complete, finished product as of its February 4, 2024 full release.
