SOL: Exodus launched on January 25, 2012 as a complete, self-contained space shooter with eight missions and a full story. The developer posted a studio transition note on April 2, 2014 mentioning "big plans for this franchise," and a related Early Access title — Exodus of SOL — was announced on August 6, 2014 as an entirely new, separate experience. That Early Access spin-off appears to have been the "big plans" referenced. There have been no developer communications of any kind since August 6, 2014, and no updates, DLC, or content additions have been released for SOL: Exodus itself in the years since. The store description describes a fixed, complete package with no mention of post-launch content or ongoing development. The game launched as a finished product, and all evidence indicates it has remained that way.
