Evaluation

Solasta II entered Steam Early Access on March 12, 2026 as an explicitly unfinished game, and Tactical Adventures has maintained a steady stream of updates since launch. Two major content updates have shipped during Early Access: Update 0.5 on June 10, 2026 (a substantial Character Creator overhaul with new sliders, body morphs, character presets, and more), and Early Access Update #1 on September 10, 2026 (which added online co-op multiplayer for up to four players, the Warlock class with two subclasses, 30 new World Events, additional character customization options, and several community-requested features). As of October 8, 2026, the developer is actively communicating and building the next update. In the October 1, 2026 hotfix post, the developer signaled that hotfixes were winding down so the team could return full focus to Early Access Update #2. In the October 8, 2026 hotfix post (today's most recent communication), the developer explicitly describes what Update #2 will deliver: raising the level cap from 4 to 6, reworking a significant portion of Act I, and opening Act II for the first time. This is a concrete, named update with specific content commitments — it is clearly in active preparation. The game is firmly in Early Access with more content on the way, actively developed by an engaged studio that is communicating regularly and delivering on its roadmap.

About this game

From the creators of Solasta: Crown of the Magister comes another intriguing tactical RPG faithful to the world's most popular TTRPG's ruleset.

Create and guide your party of 4 adventurers as they head to the faraway continent of Neokos in a quest driven by their family legacy. In the face of the threat by the ancient and enigmatic Shadwyn, what choices will you make to push back the impending tide of corruption?

Solasta II is a grand sequel to Solasta: Crown of the Magister, a much beloved Tactical RPG known for its faithfulness to the Tabletop experience. Decades after defeating the Sorak menace, a new flegdling party of heroes travels to distant lands in search for redemption.

Solasta II remains true to its promise to deliver gameplay based on the world's most popular TTRPG. Prepare your spells, land that sneak attack, smite this monster - bathe in the familiarity of your Tabletop experience.

But that's not all Solasta II will have to offer. This new opus will also allow you to freely roam the lands of Neokos, to explore and uncover the map as you will. Whether you stick to familiar roads, or head off into the wilderness... The choice is yours. Just be careful - because as we've always said...

You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
