Solstice

Solstice is a visual novel that launched on March 23, 2016 as a complete, finished product. Its only DLC — a soundtrack and bonus content pack — was released on the same day as the game itself, indicating it shipped as a complete package from day one. Developer communications consist of a couple of bug fix patches in September 2016 and a maintenance update on June 26, 2019 that improved the game's internal resource management system. No major content updates have ever been released post-launch, no future content has been announced, and there is no evidence of any ongoing content plans. The June 2019 patch explicitly referenced bringing similar technical improvements to their other game, Cinders, but did not announce any new content for Solstice itself. With no post-launch content cycle, no unreleased DLC, and no developer statements suggesting future additions, Solstice launched and remains a complete, self-contained experience.
