Space Farmers launched on April 17, 2014 and received a series of free content updates in its first year: version 1.2 added new levels, characters, and hats (May 20, 2014); version 1.3 added split-screen co-op (June 26, 2014); version 1.4 added five new levels and characters (September 10, 2014); and version 1.5 "Attack of the Vegtabots" added a single-player minigame, new characters, and a new multiplayer level (October 20, 2014). The last recorded developer activity was a connectivity patch on February 28, 2015. There have been no developer communications of any kind since that date — now over 11 years ago. The store description promises ongoing free updates and no paid DLC, but that pledge predates the developer going silent. With no posts, patches, or announcements since February 28, 2015, the game has long since reached the end of its active development. It launched as a complete co-op experience and received meaningful post-launch updates, all of which have shipped. No unreleased DLC is listed, and no future content has been announced.
