Space Invaders Extreme launched on Steam on February 12, 2018. Following release, the developer issued several bug fix patches and one feature patch (v1.0.5 on March 1, 2018) that made balance and mechanic adjustments. After that point, there have been no further updates or communications specific to Space Invaders Extreme itself. The developer's news feed from 2024 onward is entirely focused on a different game — Operation Night Strikers — with no mention of any additional content for Space Invaders Extreme. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future updates, and no roadmap of any kind. The game launched as a self-contained arcade experience with 16 stages, and all post-launch activity was limited to early maintenance patches. The last meaningful developer work on this title dates to March 1, 2018.
