Evaluation

Spaceport Hope launched on April 15, 2016 as a complete 2D action platformer. The store description presents it as a finished product with a defined set of content: 13 bosses, 10 planets, 60+ enemies, and 12 weapons. The only DLC ever released was the game's soundtrack, which shipped the day after launch on April 16, 2016. The developer did post occasional updates through 2016 — primarily stability and bug-fix patches. In February 2018, they announced a major overhaul project called "Spaceport Hope DX" (SHDX), a standalone redesigned version of the game. A June 2018 update reported steady progress on SHDX and suggested a release "somewhere in the first half of 2019." However, no further news posts appeared after June 2018, SHDX was never released on this store page, and no follow-up communications have been made. Since SHDX was framed as a separate standalone project rather than a content update to the existing game, it does not represent a commitment to add content to Spaceport Hope itself. The original game has had no new content updates since 2016, no unreleased DLC is listed, and no developer statements indicate plans to add anything further to this version. The game launched as a complete package and remains so. The SHDX project, now long past its projected 2019 release window with no word from the developer, appears to have been abandoned — but that is a separate project and does not affect the completion status of the original Spaceport Hope.
Evidence
The only DLC released is the game soundtrack, which launched the day after the game itself. No unreleased DLC exists.
