Spirit of the North 2

Spirit of the North 2 launched on May 8, 2025 and has been actively supported ever since. Three major content releases have shipped post-launch: the Save A Fox Pack cosmetic DLC (August 31, 2025), the Turtle Island Home DLC (September 25, 2025), and the Lost Melodies side quest update (May 20, 2026), which added a brand-new questline, a new rune, new puzzles, new cosmetics, and 10 never-before-heard music tracks. In addition, the team delivered a winter seasonal event in December 2025, multiple quality-of-life and bug fix patches, and a major performance overhaul that earned the game Steam Deck Verified status on July 24, 2026 — the most recent developer communication. The March 2026 patch notes explicitly stated that "maybe some additional content" was in the works alongside further optimizations, suggesting the developer has not drawn a line under the game's post-launch support. All three DLC listings are now released, and no unreleased DLC is currently listed. The roughly quarterly cadence of major updates — August 2025, September 2025, May 2026 — with the last major content arriving approximately three months ago places the game well within its established update window. The developer has not announced any conclusion to ongoing support.
