Spirit Realm

Spirit Realm is an actively developed Early Access game that has maintained a very high volume of updates since its June 21, 2024 launch. The developer continues to ship major content updates on a roughly monthly-to-bimonthly cadence. In June 2026, version 0.7.1 introduced new story content for the Yiqi Sect, a completely overhauled talent system (split into Spirit Root, Innate, and Acquired talents), new special equipment tiers, and multiple new story scenes. In July 2026, version 0.7.2 added a full pet system with a new secret realm (Spirit Beast Valley) dedicated to it. Beyond these major additions, the developer has continued shipping feature patches and bug fixes multiple times per week — the most recent update as of this assessment was on August 10, 2026, addressing ability fixes, new talent implementations, and combat adjustments. The development team has also been progressively implementing new innate talents across patch versions (e.g., "Primordial Power" talent in August 2026), suggesting ongoing content rollout planned across multiple updates. There is no indication from the developer that development is nearing completion or that a 1.0 release is imminent.
