Evaluation
Sproggiwood launched on October 24, 2014 and received a series of post-launch updates: a bug-fix patch in October 2014, the Yuletide Patch (v1.1) in December 2014, the Savage Patch (v1.2) in May 2015, and a Steam Cloud update (v1.3) on March 4, 2017. That March 2017 update is the last developer communication on record. The updates grew progressively smaller in scope — from new gameplay modes and achievements to cloud save support — suggesting the game was being wound down to maintenance. No new content has been announced, no DLC beyond the soundtrack (released May 2015) has ever been listed, and the store description makes no mention of planned additions. The developer has not posted any news since March 4, 2017. With no outstanding commitments, no unreleased DLC, and nearly a decade of silence since the last update, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product.
Evidence
Version 1.3 added Steam Cloud support, more save slots, and minor bug fixes. This is the last developer communication on record.
Version 1.2 Savage Patch added a new difficulty mode, 10 achievements, and 12 class-specific items — the last major content addition to the game.
