Squeakross: Home Squeak Home launched on June 7, 2025 and has been actively updated throughout its first year. On February 6, 2026, the developer shipped a major free content update adding 236 new puzzles, two new furniture catalogs, and new edge/wall decoration systems. This was followed by feature patches and bug fixes continuing through June 30, 2026. On June 4, 2026 — the game's one-year anniversary — the developer posted a detailed look at what comes next. They confirmed they are now working on a "final major content update" for the game, consisting of two simultaneous releases: one paid DLC packed with new content, and one large free content update with new puzzles. They were transparent that they do not intend to support the game indefinitely, but want to make this concluding update as substantial as possible. A release sometime in 2027 was mentioned as the general target. This plan was reaffirmed just weeks later in the June 27, 2026 patch notes (v1.9), which explicitly stated: "We have started to work on the next free content update and the DLC so we'll be a bit quiet for a while." This confirms development of the announced content is actively underway as of late June 2026. The game currently has one released DLC (the original soundtrack, released June 26, 2025). The paid DLC described in the anniversary post has not yet been listed on the store, but the developer's own statements make clear it is in production.
