Star Crafter entered Early Access on March 3, 2025 as a "complete, fully playable experience," with the developer immediately announcing a major end-game update called "New Stars" in active development. That update was delivered to the beta branch on April 4, 2025, and fully shipped with the 1.0 release on September 26, 2025, when the game exited Early Access. The 1.0 launch included Star/Planet Creation Rockets, Space Station Platforms, spaceship upgrades, a Fusion Reactor crafting speed bonus, and a world origin shifting system — fulfilling the promises made at Early Access launch. A hotfix on October 9, 2025 addressed a terrain save issue introduced by the 1.0 update. The developer has not announced any future DLC, expansions, roadmaps, or additional planned content since the 1.0 release. There are no unreleased DLC listings on the store. The game appears to have launched as a finished product, with the New Stars update representing the completion of the developer's stated Early Access goals.
