Evaluation
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launched on November 14, 2019 as a self-contained, single-player story-driven game. Following launch, Respawn delivered a small number of post-launch updates: a Photo Mode patch in December 2019, pre-order content unlocked for all players in February 2020, and a free content update on May 4, 2020 that added New Journey+, Meditation Training game modes, accessibility options, and bug fixes. That May 2020 update is the last substantive content addition the developer shipped for this game. No further updates, DLC, or expansions have been released or announced for Fallen Order itself. The sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, was announced in May 2022 and released in 2023 — confirming that Respawn's attention has fully moved on to the next chapter of Cal's story. A 2025 post on this game's Steam page promoted the upcoming Star Wars Zero Company, an unrelated title, further confirming there is no active development remaining on Fallen Order. The game shipped as a complete narrative experience and has received no content additions since May 2020.
