Evaluation
Stormshot is a free-to-play massively multiplayer game developed and published by FunPlus International AG, released on October 9, 2023. The game is structured around ongoing multiplayer systems — players build and reinforce a Stronghold, form alliances with others on a shared Treasure Isle, and compete in a persistent world. This is the hallmark of a live service game designed to operate indefinitely, with no defined content endpoint. The store description emphasizes 300 puzzle levels as a feature, but the broader game framework (alliance systems, stronghold progression, shared world exploration) is characteristic of a continuously operated title. No developer communications about specific upcoming content or development conclusions were available, but the game's architecture makes it inherently ongoing by design.
