Strange Pong

Strange Pong launched on February 9, 2025 as a free-to-play casual pong game with a complete feature set: a single-player campaign, boss fights, two-player mode, gameplay modifiers, and visual customization. A cosmetic Supporter Pack DLC was released on February 13, 2025. The developer shipped several patches in the weeks after launch, primarily adding Linux support, control remapping, and bug fixes. The most significant developer communication came on January 18, 2026, when the developer openly stated they had not updated the game for roughly 9 months because they had been working on other small games, and that they had started development on a new, separate Steam game. No future content for Strange Pong was announced or hinted at. A July 6, 2026 patch (version 1.4.15) confirmed this trajectory: it was a minor bug fix that also added a clickable in-game news item promoting the developer's new title, "Anti-Anti-Cheat." The developer explicitly noted "we are developing a new game," reinforcing that their focus has moved on. There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no sustained pattern of major content updates. The game launched as a finished product and has only received maintenance patches since. The developer's attention is now on a new project.
